Realigning my faith and my passions saved my life

My name is Sydney Montgomery and I help empower women to feel valued, seen, loved, and confident by deepening their relationship with God and inviting His guidance in their lives, enabling them to discover their true passion and calling in Christ.

Four years ago, I was working at a law firm shortly after graduating from Harvard Law School. I was struggling with anxiety, depression, unexplained weight gain from medicines to control my out-of-control autoimmune condition, and the deep realization that I was not where I felt I was supposed to be.

I was where everyone else thought I should be

The quintessential hometown girl who returned to practice law after graduating from Princeton and Harvard Law.

The girl who cared about her family and returned home to take care of her younger sister.

The up-and-coming attorney who went to all the networking events and social functions.

But on the inside, I was deeply unhappy and struggling to figure out how I could have followed all the directions and still ended up in a place that was far from the feelings of happiness and success I was promised.

But God.

In my darkest moments, failing to perform well at my job and failing to get my autoimmune condition under control, I reconnected with God and rededicated my career to him. I learned into the promises of His word which reminded me who I was and whose I was and found new confidence, hope, and direction.

And now, four years later, I was able to turn my passion into a national non-profit organization that sits at the intersection of faith and access to intersection. We’ve been able to impact over 7,000+ students and I was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the Social Impact Category.

And it all started with a shift.

Not an external shift of my circumstances, but an internal shift of my perspectives, and priorities, and an alignment of my purpose and passion with Christ.

And now, with training from Princeton Theological Seminary, a heart for ministry, and a passion for personal growth, I provide compassionate, faith-centered coaching to help you navigate life's challenges and opportunities.

“Working with Sydney was both an intellectual and emotional journey. She was able to help me think about my goals and passions and bring out the best version of myself.”
