Being a woman entrepreneur is hard work.
There are so many times on this journey I have felt isolated and alone. I found it crucial on my journey to be surrounded by women and coaches who not only understood what I was going through as the CEO of a growing company but also could pray over me, encourage me, and remind me that my company was part of God’s plan for my life as a ministry to others.
Through my entrepreneurship journey, I have immersed myself in various accelerator programs geared toward helping women of color, invested in business coaching programs, and attended in-person and virtual weeks-long incubators. I have dedicated myself to exploring creative ways that women of color need to move in business in order to be successful and examined the common pitfalls that often prevent us from achieving that goal.
I have given speeches on women in entrepreneurship to thousands as part of the Think in Color Summit and have spoken in Forbes and Inc about entrepreneurship and the need for more support for women of color in business.
